An Auction!

Greetings to the victorious adventurers of Icenia!

Long will your crushing and cost-effective defeat of the foul Dominion be celebrated in song and story, and long too shall the friendship between humble Home and mighty Icenia endure! As a show of goodwill and good business between our two peoples, Queen Lolita Throttlebottom has authorized me to offer up some choice items recently aquired by the Royal treasury up for auction at prices that will make you question my sanity. Items both Magical and Mundane (and a good amount of the things you need to MAKE mundane items magical) shall be offered up for your purchasing pleasure. The festivities will begin after dinner two Saturdays from next in the villiage of Fairdale. Libations will be served (just buy them from the tavern staff). Come... spend... leave happy!

Her Majesty's Ambassador to Icenia

PS- I would also be willing to anonymously auction off any items you may wish to sell, provided they are legal and you agree to a 10% commision of the sales price. I would further be delighted to meet any fellow Hoblings interested in certain business ventures I'm hoping to set up in Ashbury.

After speaking with the last gentleman who conducted an auction for the Icenian adventurers, it was decided that I would NOT be able to release a list of the items going up for sale in advance. Apparently the last time this was done deals were worked out between certain groups and most of the items were not actually bid upon, but rather went for the initial asking price. Rest assured that the items for sale are of the highest quality and were specifically chosen to be of interest to the adventuring community. My humblest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Just as a reminder, the Auction will begin one hour after the dinner bell this coming Saturday.

Letting us know about some of the items might pull in people that might not otherwise show up. Many times a group will pick one of there own ta load up with gold and send ta something like this.

I think that letting us know about some of the items but not maybe all of them would give us what we are asking for and at the same time not let people set any kind of "per-Auction" that you dont want.

Thank ya

Goodman Mattock,
I have already stated the nature of the items for sale, specifics would ruin the fun. Spending money should be fun. So fun that you want to do it every day. But if you want a little more detail I'll oblige you. The items going up on the block will be an assortment of Ritual scrolls, Reagents, some standard magic items and two weapons with multiple rituals cast upon them. All but one of the Magic Items for sale can freely travel the mists, but really, aren't there enough monsters to kill here in Tar'Navaria? I will not be cajoled further on this matter. If the products I have for sale do not sell here I'm sure the adventuring populace of Falkirk would be willing to buy whatever is left during the next stop on my tour of your fair kingdom.
