The Adventurers managed to repair and push through the broken leyline gate to face the Whisperer and his golem forces that were ravaging the nexus of the leyline, it's very source exposed. The Adventurers had done much throughout the year to weaken the Whisperer, a scholar of all the forbidden magic and powerful enough that ancient dragons gave up their power to banish him from Eloria. Making short work of the few remaining golems, the Adventurer's found the Whisperer in the Emperor Goldfinger's throne. Shouded in a powerful barrier on magic, the adventurer known as Gideon called down a powerful bolt of lightning, summoning the fury of the storms, to shatter this barrier. The Whisperer, was unprepared believing not scholar was more powerful then he. The Whisperer did not fear death however, as he had established immortality a long time ago. Only one other mage, Ahlana, who had experience with forbidden magics knew the solution the problem; and with the help of a dragon; sealed herself and the Whisperer away for all time. The Adventurer's had won, but no celebrating happened that night.... and winter came.
Eloria Empire is in the state of rebuilding. Emperor Goldfinger and his family have return to rule. Gone are the mists that disrupted trade, prevented military deployment, and the harvesting of resources in mass. The heart of the empire, Eloria City, is once again becoming a center of trade amid the construction of the damage parts of the city as well as expansion. The price of wood and stone as well as those who work it have increased greatly in price. Rumors and fears swirl about those nations who defied the Elorian Empire may soon come to a head; as it's armies grow and chants of “They will pay!” repeated during drills.
As these tensions rise, the Elorian Council has announced a spring faire will be held in honor the heroes known as the Adventurers in the lands of Ardic. Faire Games, Hunts, Contest, and Food will be held and sponsored on behalf of the Elorian Empire, Elorian Guilds, and other dignitaries from other nations. Meanwhile, other troubles brews in the three lands as spring blooms new troubles.
