Good Morning, Acarthians! Just a note of reassurance from Team Prometheus, your 2017 Acarthia Plot Team:
The August 2017 event will have a major focus on fighting the undead. Friday night, we will start the game in New Acarthia at our site outside of Woodland Park, CO. We'll be back in the section near Deepjug's Tavern, and with access to the celestial and earth circles found in that district of town in-game. Team Prometheus will have further details for your characters soon about 'sup with the Town Hall district ("Old New Acarthia" in Red Feather Lakes, CO), and why we're moving to the Deepjugs neighborhood temporarily. Stay tuned!
On Saturday night, after Logistics at 6:00 pm, some time will pass in the game, and then we will switch our in-game venue to the estate of Forestwatch, which is on the northern border of the Royal Fiefs in Acarthia, which you can check out here: http://i-moriarty.com/alliance/maps/Map of Acarthia - Barony.png.
Forrestwatch has been taken over by Dreadrot, a notorious liche! Spoiler alert! That means TONS OF UNDEAD for that half of the weekend in particular.
Alchemists, Artisans, Craftsmen, roleplayers, one and all: Team Prometheus wants to reassure you that your usefulness is on our minds! Fear not that you'll be "useless" against the undead. We have some cool stuff in mind to keep you meaningfully and heroically involved not only in the action and story, but in the crusade against the greatest villain this campaign world has known.
So feel comfortable to pre-reg for the event early and often! You will have your place in it.
More information will follow in coming days about logistical details with the switch from one city to another, how we'll handle the 6:00 Reset hour, the switch from New Acarthia blue cards to Forestwatch orange cards overnight, what your plans should be for your cabin and its protections. We're on this!
