All the gypsy fun! I had a blast NPCing with you guys! It was great to have new gypsies in the mix!

Racist soldiers runs around the tavern being racist to most races except humans. Darius, the elf, reports him to Baron Markus (a human). The Baron replies "He was nice enough to me..."


It was a great event folks- despite screwing up my good knee (which is already doing much better) I had a great time. I'm so happy so much plot advanced. It was great to see so many new faces.

Saturday morning walk-about. Levels were never so very not important to an enjoyable experience.

Getting the hook for the Saturday undead slaughter. Very well done in game, completely conveyed the OOG message of party size and power level without breaking the barrier.

Me, IG: "You don't have to threaten me to get us to go do that."
Me, OOG, in my head: "Really? You mean I just keep pushing your buttons and we get more mods like that?"

wonderful times,

patching up stupid pesints and keeping them from doing stupid stuff to get themselves killed and not just arrested fro attaching the tavern... wile sorting out a mix up and finding out about a new plague, and the race to stem an epidemic from braking out wile also arranging for releaf supply to be made and sent to there village... some time you need to tell someone to sit down shut up and lesson, and some times this takes pointed weapons and fist aid, and some times need to try them up before you can get them to tell you whats wrong and how you can help....

lots of fun getting to sit and talk with other MWEs from other lands!!!! great fun!

hart braking to have to let a farmers son know their dad and mom both permed....

fun handing out items on lone to be used by low skilled youth and getting reports back of heroic moments

cookies and cupcakes shenanigans

nothing like telling other nobles to wait in line as you cook diner for the pore

Copperthreads then UNLOADS his tree into my NPC for daring to harm Nyrani.

I loved playing the diseased Bullywugs.
Kart cures one diseased Bullywug who then tells all his friends, so they all follow him around like lepers waiting to be healed hamming up the disease.

Friday night rp shenanigans with Krieger and Jim. Especially the visual image of being drenched by the rain, and looking up.

"It goes in your mouth..remember how that blowing through a straw to spatter ink across tissue paper thing when we were kids? did you ever inhale? It tastes like that."

Saturday morning Bandit mod. "I bet you five gold all of them are humans." "I'm not taking that bet, because I'll lose." 4 out of 5 bandits? Humans.

Getting to run around with Daylynn and Ciarrah, and the many, many conversations that ensued all over the place. It was fantastic to have you guys.

Getting to have Elryion around again :), and his Light/Dark breakdown. Poor broken elf with his little star light.

Shin and Akemi shenanigans. :) I love you guys.

Greg - as always, I find the most fun ,immersive moments are when the two spooky characters are off just being themselves. Thank you for a fantastic weekend buddy. Much love.

C: "Really?! I mean REALLY? Did you think I'd been charmed or something?"
N: "Well, one of them was throwing Charms and, well, yeah I thought you got hit. I was out of Awakens."
C: "Well, I already like you, so I'm going to be ok with that."
 
Many years ago, at my first overnight event, a high level PC escorted me through the dark woods because my low level coward character was afraid to go alone. It was so nice, after all these years, to properly thank him by giving him a fear of the dark. From everything I am hearing, he played it splendidly.

20 NPCs in wild animal masks running around the building from out a vie catching a bunch of PCs off gard attacking, among them a graph a zebra a Penguin a peacock and a lot more... can u say "shenanigans for the win"

Dressing Aragwen up in her new Gypsy garb, and the look on everyones faces when they saw her

Also plotting secret Gypsy plots in the middle of the tavern and nobody noticed, because every couple sentences somebody says something loud and so utterly Gypsy, that nobody pays the rest any mind.

All the gypsy stuff. Just all of it. I especially loved sneaking Aragwen's gypsy gear into my bag so it'd be a surprise when she race changed and I was prepared. Yay gypsyphilis!

Having all my non-gypsy friends come up to me Saturday night and go "You know, I really don't like Papa Syrah..." and getting to say "I could have told you that months ago!"
 
Ok, so this is a bit late...I think I'm still recovering from the sheer volume of awesome from the weekend, though!

First, how did we end up with soooo many awesome NPCs?!?!?! Not only did they do really well with the rules and combat, but they were awesome role-players, too! It was really great to be able to interact with them and have a story behind why they were there and what they were doing.

Secondly, plot, plot, plot! An amazing amount of forward momentum came out of this weekend! Personal plot moved forward a LOT for me and I got to help out others with their personal stuff, as well! And on top of it all, there were several town plots all working and interwoven in ways we can only just begin to imagine! You guys are amazing and thank you for everything you do for us! I had a brief encounter with Warlock OOG and he checked in to see what plots I was getting into.

Warlock: "Uh-huh, that' a good one...yep, that one, too...oh, THAT'S what you think is going on there?!? *evil laughter*" I guess we'll find out soon enough when we go exploring ;)

Now, on to just a few of the incredible moments from the weekend (in no order):

- Being a mental relay station and mental RP in general
- Being given a Sleep and having real sleep take over before the Effect wore off =P
- Gypsyphillis! Be careful, they're contagious!
- Getting to tell the story of the Gypsy King in-game
- Being set up by Madhawk with the downtime response I got =P
- Being so freaked out by Madhawk's NPC early in the weekend that I had a hard time sitting next to Swift Goldenfoot the rest of the weekend =/
- The riddle mod! Not only did we have to figure out the riddles, but we had to figure out how the riddles worked/changed...and many of those riddles were so good, they were shared with other PCs throughout the weekend. Thanks, Jim!
- Killing Trolls! Feels good to go fulfill racial hatred requirements, even though we almost died from it =D
- Being a PA shield against the diseased blobs
- Getting puked on by a diseased bear! Thanks, Joe! "Do you accept semi-physical role-play?" "I ALWAYS accept physical role-play." and then he tackles me
- Carrying around the hammer and many people commenting: "Gee, that looks very heavy" "*grunting* Yep....sure is!"
- Finding out that there may someday be a useful reason to buy more levels of Blacksmithing...or to get put into a Golem ~grins~
- Ali's amazing cliffhanger ending! You suck and we love you all at once!

There was much, much more from this event, but I let it go too long before trying to write this all out,. So thank you again to the NPCs, Plot, Staff, and all my wonderful Alliance friends who make this game so much fun to escape to for a weekend each month!
