Avatar???

I'm haveing a hard time figuring how to put my avatar up on here any tips?

Load your avatar picture to some website that allows you to publicly link to the image directly. Then -

Long way:
Click on [User Control Panel], listed under the "Alliance Alliance LARP Be All That You Can't Be" banner, under the bit that starts with "Board index". Choose the [Profile] tab, then click on [Edit avatar]

Short way:
Click here.

In the [Link off-site] field, place the URL for your avatar picture file. Please note the dimension and file size restrictions. Click [Save].

OK i put in the URL code from the site and all thats showing up is a little red x where my avatar should be could someone please help me?

What's the file size and what are the dimensions of the pixel?

Also, make sure you're not putting in the URL code, but the url itself:

This:
http://www.mysite.com/mypicture.jpg

Not this
[img]http://www.mysite.com/mypicture.jpg[/img]

And not this:
[url=http://www.mysite.com/mypicture.jpg]picture[/url]

If you open the picture in MSPaint, you can click on the [Image] menu and choose [Attributes]. Make sure neither the width not height are greater than 90 pixels.
