Basic crossbow prop

Hello folks -

I am looking for instructions on how to make a very basic crossbow prop. Any pictures or direction please?

per rules, can be made of closed cell.
Crosspiece is 12-24"
Stock is 14-30"

Personally, the easiest way would be to make a basic 14"x14" T.

Want to get fancy, use a hobby knife or serrated blade to take small wedges out of the bow part and then tape so that it makes an arc. Can also add some extra foam under the main part of the stock for extra stability/strength and then shape it to look more like a stock.

Make the T, then do something more complex after you've got a solid backup and something to use right now. I started with the complex, and then had nothing to use when that one was fallen on.
