Blue Information Cards at the October 2017 Event

If you're a Denver veteran, you may skip to the section way below, labeled, "EVERYBODY."

If you're from out of chapter, or new to the game, read this section:
Alliance Denver places blue information cards around the campsite. They may be in or on buildings, or out in the woods if you go for a nature walk to explore our site. Look for them in the Town Hall, and among the cabins, too!

These are printed on blue letter-size paper, placed in sheet protectors. We aim to place them usually around eye level; they are not usually hidden. These will be easily within 1 mile of the center of activity of our "town."

If you see a card, you may read it. Each card gives a basic description of the scene in front of you, what everybody sees when they walk up. Each card lists certain requirements to get more information from the scene. Team Prometheus, our 2017 Acarthia Plot Team, utilizes PC Craftsman skills for these often. The requirement could also be your character's race, group affiliation, or even a roleplay experience. If it describes a roleplay experience, the interpreptation is up to you whether or not you qualify. Examples of these requirements might include things like:

Herbal Lore
Craftsman: Fortune Teller; Scout/Tracker; Baker
Wylderkin
Roleplay: You are from beyond the Mists, outside of Acarthia.

If you have the described requirement, flip the card over for seekrit information! If you don't meet the requirements, duh -- don't flip the card over just for funsies. That's cheating.

IMPORTANT: You are welcome to go find someone who meets the requirements, and bring them back to the card. How does your character know this? I don't know... make something up. We err on the side of FUN here, however. If the card says Tracker, and you're not a tracker, you may go find one.

A few of these may be mod cards,
but the overwhelming majority ARE NOT; they just provide information. Read the instructions on the card about whether to leave the card there, take it back to Monster Camp, trash it, whatever. Some have tags, and they'll be in the sheet protector; it will say in the instructions if tags should be there.

EVERYBODY
Acarthia's October 13-15 2017 Halloween Event has some particularly damn fine blue information cards out there. You may read about the scene, and want to poke it with a stick, or read the future in the entrails, duel it, do extra tracking, or otherwise interact with it in some way. Yay! We aim to inspire and entertain. :)

You know how busy the Plot Team is, however...

Fact is, we may not be able to easily accommodate your requests even for simple interaction. The writer of this little vignette may be buried deep in the mod jungles of the game at the time that you come calling. You may have to wait a long time for a response that ultimately boils down to, "You find only normal animals." We don't wish to disappoint you by making you wait.

So please roll with this rule of thumb:
If an encounter is presented by a real live human NPC, then we intend for you to interact with it.

If you're reading about it on a blue card THAT DOES NOT EXPRESSLY SAY THAT IT LEADS TO A MOD, then we intend this to be one-way information, and the scene is not intended to be interactive.

Thanks for your understanding.

We're getting super pumped about our Halloween event, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Can we IBGA it if its something interesting enough?

Plot would love to see that!

Please note in our your BGA that it was a blue card in October. Otherwise we may scratch our heads, "Anybody know something about a revenant playing violin in the middle of the woods? What's he talking about here?"
