When the Atreides went out for their first tour of spice mining, Lynch played the pilot they rescued from a sandworm attack. He's sort of like Hitchcock in that he frequently gives himself tiny cameos in his films.

as for Dune ...I never saw the new remake I saw the one from back in the old days with Sting :::grawwwrrrr:::

anyways...what I hated about children of dune was that the nuns didn't shave their foreheads anymore!!!! and the costumes were too fancy for desert wear.....and you couldn't hear their thoughts anymore.....other than that the story was the bomb...
 
Another movie that threw me for a loop...I mean, back when I was a kid and hadn't already heard the ending a half a million times.....

when i saw the statue of liberty in the water i was like WHAT?????????????
 
i remember turning around and looking at my dad as if to say "is that what's gonna happen to america?????" and he just sorta laughed and said "its okay hun its just a movie" and i was like Ummm okay
