Break, Shatter and game items (newest packet)

What is a game item (which does not have rit effects etc...) for the purpose of break and shatter?

Does it include any object up to the size of a door such as the old shatter; or only referenced items from the rule book and tagged items?

If break/shatter works on an object up to the size of a door (at the discretion of marshal present as in the old beta packet):

Break uses the phrase unusable until mended. Does that mean a door with break cast upon it cannot be open or does it mean it cannot be locked or closed?

Shatter uses the word consume. Does that mean objects that are fully affected disappear from existence or are just broken in some way that they cannot be mended?

Thanks!

Game items include coin, tagged items, ritual scrolls and components (though note that scrolls and catalysts are immune to shatter), asset tagged items, and production items.

A door would not normally be a game item, unless it is specifically tagged as such, but the interaction between that door and the shatter and break effects would really be at the discretion of the marshal.

From a purely mechanical rules perspective, the answer to this doesn’t really matter. The item is “gone.” Whether gone means “rendered into atoms” or “broken to the point of unrepairability” is largely flavor.
