Heated blankets and safe space heaters are a good idea. Most modern space heaters should be fine. Don't bring your dad's from 1982.

I should be good, my entire costume just consists of thermals and a Snuggie.

Wrong character, the schoolgirl skirt/thong is for my Dark Elf. Needless to say that is not a cold-weather character.
