There was a bunch of confusion at the last event because the ranger didn't want us using tacks, but the signage in the cabins says to only use tacks.
Here's what I know:
String is always ok.
Painter's tape is ok.
Duct tape on painted surfaces is not ok. Figure out a different way to put up your W.
Tacks might be ok. We'll double check. If you don't hear anything before you get on site, check the 'cabin instructions' that are inside the cabin doors or near the front of the cabin. If they're new and updated and say 'No Tacks,' then don't use tacks. If they still say "Don't use tape, use tacks," then they haven't been changed since last time, and we don't really know that tacks are ok. In any case, if you do use tacks, try to put them in places that it's hard to see.
The groundskeepers at the last event got a little cranky with us because they found spell packets (mid-game). We need to make sure we're doing a good job of policing our packets as we're going, just in case the same people are doing the job again.
