Celestial Armor and Armor limits

Can a person use the Celestial Armor high magic to use a set of Arcane armor they would normally not be able to wear?

Example: A scholar has a 30 suit of arcane armor on an item, they possess 10 levels of high magic and 0 levels of wear extra armor.

1) Could they use the arcane after a single purchase of CA (as CA states that they may go above their maximum)?
2) Could they use 3 purchases of CA to utilize the 30 suit of arcane? 25 + (2x3) > 30
3) Or would this not work at all as the arcane armor would not be considered their existing armor until they can wear it with no CA levels?

Celestial Armor
Passive. This High Magic ability allows the Formal Caster to add a powerful barrier of protection to their existing armor. Celestial Armor grants 2 additional maximum Armor Points per purchase (for a maximum of 10 bonus points), which add to the user’s currently used Armor (no matter its source) and may go above their normal maximum. Note that this does not affect how the Armor is refit; for example, Blacksmithing is still required to refit a suit of physical armor enhanced with Celestial Armor.

No. That's not the intent. The intent is that you could go above your maximum with regards to Celestial Armor. i.e. You could use celestial armor on a physical suit as a scholar to go to 17, 19, 21, 23, 25

No. You wouldn't be able to wear a 30 suit of arcane armor. You need either 15 high magic or 15 Wear Extra Armor. The CA bonus is separate from the suit.

Celestial armor adds to the current suit. Since you're unable to make use of the current suit, you couldn't apply celestial armor to it.

It's relatively easy to get to a 15 suit. So if you're worried about not being able to use armor, you probably have the stuff laying around to make it work being that you're not new to larping.
