Wow, it has been a wild couple years for all of us! As the world adjusts to a new normal, the Chapter is preparing for the upcoming season. This is our yearly transparency and staff recruitment post, sprinkled with a few other general updates as well.

First, updates to the schedule:
  • The April 29th event has been moved to April 15th due to site complications
  • The July 15th event has been moved to July 22nd to avoid overlap with MN

Here is an update on the our 2020 Chapter goals 2020 Chapter Goals Post
Goals Completed:
  • We hosted a fantastic National Event!
  • We have enacted a number of transparency and unity reforms, but will continue to build and grow this goal.
Goals Underway:
  • We are hosting an exceptionally long event (5 days!) this coming season.
  • We are spinning up a new campaign! The plot team is super excited and you can find more details here.
  • We have raised considerable funds toward a new trailer. With just a bit more fundraising this spring, we plan to buy it this summer. Check out details here.
Goals Planned:
  • We are growing towards our goal of 100+ person events. We are ramping up our recruitment effort this spring.
  • We still hope to get a permanent site by the end of 2023. We have toured a number of sites and are running the numbers, but it is a massive leap for the chapter and we’re taking all precautions.

As we move into the new season, we want to take the time to thank Carrie, Daphne, Nate, and the Company for their service as Assistant General Manager, Logistics, Head of Rules, and Kitchen, respectively. They all did an exceptional job and we thank them for their service as they rotate off staff. (Applause Emoji)

In the new season, we have a number of new, as well as returning, staff:

The position receives 100 goblin stamps a month, plus a bonus to cover time dedicated to social media updates.

Andrea R, Luke D, Mika F are stepping up in the kitchen to help out. Still looking for a couple more folks.

Derek S is stepping into the Head of Rules role.

Logistics still needs 2 volunteers. This could be you! Anyone on logistics and at attendance of the opener will get a lore token.

Kitchen Just for this game, I can't do this every time. Traveling makes it hard for me to do shopping and food prep and bringing the extra shelf stable items.
