Character Background and Resurrection

I'm developing my first character background. I understand after reading the rulebook that resurrection is commonplace throughout Caladonia. Would an idea where a family member dies but then mysteriously can't be raised for an unknown reason be rejected by plot?
 
There are a few reasons character may have not resurrected where it was believed it would.

It is unlikely they would refuse a background. They may suggest edits to ensure it works with the rules.
