Life and Create Undead only. Shatter or Destroy will affect a possession of a dead body, but they must be cast on the possession directly.
A player who is hit by a spell that does not affect them should always cause No Effect. Thus, a Dead player hit by a "Death" should call No Effect (similarly, an alive player hit by a "Create Undead" should call No Effect, assuming they don't have a Spell Shield or Reflect Magic up).
Note that Healing Arts works for specific questions against a Dead person. Specifically, useful questions include "Are you Dead?" and "How long until you resurrect?". You can determine the difference between a Dead body and a Permanently Dead body by the result of "How long until you resurrect?" (which on a permanently dead body should give a result of "never" or "not applicable").
