Deadlands is currently in need of the below items. Gobbies of course will be awarded as well as our sincerest thanks.

Ultra Light Long Swords

8/29/08: We NEED 2 pairs of BAT WINGS for the September event. Anyone extra crafty enough that can make good bat wings will be rewarded with gobbies more so than normal wings. We request that these wings be either Black or Grey, or both. No other colours please. This is specific to a role. Please email me directly if you can make these for us. And of course, the sooner the better so we're not scrambling at the end.

We are also currently in need of all Component Reps. Please email me if you can help with this. We will accept them from everyone.

You have Ultra lights in NPC camp?

I'm NPCing next game, please tell me you have some weapons I can use that won't upset my soul.

Though I'm not Jaimi (nor on staff), I do believe that there are both types of weapons. My understanding is that the ultra-lites are NEEDED as we've had a lot of NPC's of the fairer gender, whose fightings arms are perhaps not as strong as we manly types. It just makes combat easier and less physically taxing for some folks, and preventing bodily injury is always a bonus.

although you would think i'm tough and can handle a heavy sword...its just not true..i may be taking advantage of ultralightlongswordedness...

Yes, we are in need of ultra lights due to the overwhelming lack of strong biceps on both sides of the gender tree.....just kidding. Actually, we just realized over the course of the season that ultra light weapons are needed to balance out the combat as most PC's use ultra lights.

That being said....I am still a big fan of PVC and we have plenty of those for you hard core types.

While my feelings on ultra lights are fairly well known I had intended my response to be on a lighter more humorous note.
 
i thought it was funny...i, too, thought i would never use an ultra light...until i tried one and thought...jeepers this is so much easier to bash on people with! happiness ensued immediately..HEHEHEHEHH besides i never get called a heathen its good for chracter building :D
