Do Sarr live in houses?

Who builds them?

Not all construction requires nails. Take, for example...
Thatched-roof cottages.

Thatched-roof cottages!!!

Sarr's natural enemy must be, of course:

That's what the prey wylderkin are for before you eat them.

They live in teepees.

But first they get all tangled in the string.

Says the girl who played with the decorative beading on the shoulder straps on a dress of a costume of mine for about 10 minutes.

While in a lyonshel mask.

I'm still wondering how any Sarr army has ever won a battle. Peasants with crossbows must be a terrible shock.

Then again, I also prefer the assumption that dwarves don't just make two-handed weapons their own size because their tiny little arms can't reach across their chests.

Well, a crossbow doesn't have any greater range then a magic storm, or other range spells, so I don't see a huge disadvantage here...

Magic storm is what level?

Your average farmer can learn to shoot a crossbow, on the other hand, and probably already knows from dealing with coyotes and the like.

I can learn a disarm spell for just about the same amount of training that it takes to use a crossbow, and you should be able to close that range within the 5 seconds a disarm gets you before they'd be ready to fight again. I'm sure your average peasant hunting Sarr can be prepared for these things.
