Red Resurrection

It has been months since the Mistwalkers last gathered together in Xiaohi. After taking care of various business, both in Xiaohai and along the way back, all have made it back to Brimm’s Watch at various times.

There is a quiet sense of calm and peace that has seemingly washed over the town since last you where there. It still seems to have some threats in the surrounding areas however, but none directly threatening the town proper.

There has been word of many changes around the town. The Sheriff is currently attending to family matters in the capital, leaving the peace and well being of the town to his two deputies. It seems that the rangers guarding Balmirdivich have left their duties in the hands of Deputies Advanced scouting group; no doubt this is to go looking for the Cocoons of the horrific Necromoths. It has also been noticed that many of the Wayfarers wear veils now and are less inclined that even to hold company with any but their own. No one in town knows why this is and the Wayfarers will not speak to any not of their kind about it.

With the advanced scouts occupied and the Sheriff no longer around, it will be up to the Deputies and their Mistwalker allies to try and maintain this time of peace and order.

This may be a difficult task as reports have come in that some hunters have been kidnapped. Their companions claim it was an odd creatures, which they described as a mish-mashed form of many monster in the forests.

And that is not all. Some who live nearer the swamp have claimed to see a cottage wink in and out of existence and have sworn they can hear wicked cackling in there heads when they approach the cottage before it disappears.

Also the recent appearance of a goblin claiming the title of the infamous “Slug Bait” has the town guard baffled. It seems the goblin is robbing those by the roadside and is magically vanishing into thin air.

It is up to the Mistwalkers to solve these and many more mysterious happenings around Brimm’s Watch, in this year's Enerret season opener. We look forward to seeing you all at The Red Resurrection!
