We had 38 pre-reg and some showed up at the door; how did we end up with 31?

Mike Engler, Dave Ehrhart, and Suzie Lee pre-regged but didn't show. Just 3 off the top of my head. Obviously there are at least 4 more.

shouldn't those pre-reg's then be removed from the list before these reports are run?

Not trying to sound ****-ish.. but not removing them from the pre-reg list in the DB, gives them credit for the event without them gobbying it when the event is reconciled.

I'm assuming since the individuals who maintain the DB and the pre-reg list on the forums are different it is entirely possible that they got removed before the updates happened in the DB. :)

Also Wow that's two events in a row we have had 13 deaths... who said HQ 'wasn't' deadly... :tears:

Luckily Robb your correct and they were removed. However Reconciling doesnt always work the way it should. I think it has to do with adding people in a session and not saving and closing the program between changes. So each event I have to go back in and verify each person has been given credit appropriately. Does it always translate exactly for reports? nope. Can i do the cool bulk print if i make on each character what their type of battleboard sheet is preferred? nope. SO those are done individually as well. This is one of the reasons after the event it takes a day or so for some things to go out. I have to verify credits given and that people show up correctly. It seems that since I had a constant session open this event that the people I added that signed at the door werent in this report. Thats my only assumption for the discrepancies on this and last months report. I think it;s tied to the character sheet issue where if someone has build and they spend it and you print without closing and reloading the session it shows the build unspent on the characters card. It's something I can work around just havent been able to dedicate time to mess around with it. Plus I don't want to do more harm.

Dave I agree it's kind of creepy. UNLUCKIEST SEASON EVER.. but such a blast. Plot is doing amazing stuff and the npc talent is like.. woa. Thanks for all your hard work everyone I appreciate it.

Im having trouble believing there were only 3 gypsies at the event. They seemed to be everywhere!

Its because those three 3 gypsies are... GYPSIES ;)

What? No Wylderkin? I may have been somewhat useless, but I'm pretty sure I was there ;)

Or am I not listed because I didn't pre-reg? Dunno...

Edit: Reread the post a couple slots above, and yeah that seems to be why.

This ain't no disco.

This season, and this event especially, we have been writing high risk/high reward plotlines. 13 deaths happened this event, but we could have easily doubled that if the PCs hadn't done the right thing to keep oblits off the field till Sunday. What I loved about this weekend was that both the good guys and the bad guys had difficult to achieve objectives and both the PCs and NPCs got a big win out of this weekend while at the same time both sides suffered a terrible loss. This is what I play the game for. The bad guys got a big win followed by a HUGE setback and that is going to make writing for the bad guys even more fun. When the plot team sees writing as fun rather than work it shows in the encounters and makes the NPCs have more fun playing the baddies. When the NPCs are having fun the PCs pick up on it and have even more fun. It's not often you get a positive feedback loop outside a nuclear reactor, and LARPing is better for the environment.

The unwritten gypsie racial benefit: Being so loud that everyone assumes there must be at least twice as many as are actually present. This has allowed small groups of Rom to scare off opposing armies on more than one occasion :D

There were definitely four Gypsies. Ket, Lanna, Larien, and Luka.
