Threats on the palace cause a sudden change of plans for the Queen's Masquerade; the players are met with a mysterious new location for the party, and an even more mysterious host! Was the move to protect the nobles and players from the Sect, or just pull them further into their trap?

Was the Sect's intervention on the Prince's arrival at the end of the night all a part of the plan to lure him into a final confrontation? Either way - both the Prince and Countess Gyverin are now missing, and the Dark Elf senator killed... what's next?

If we could have IBGAs and MI picks in by Saturday, February 25, it would be greatly appreciated!

1. Oh man, this was a great event! Thanks so much to the plot, NPCs, and everyone!
-The prison break was a lot of fun!
-Hitting second rank in the sanctum
-Having a nice chat with Captain Vincente.....and then seeing my wife.
-Before talking to my wife having FOUR people come up to be looking for the hot deets.
-Reaching the end of my personal plot (for the time being?)
-The whole interaction between my wife, Diggs, and myself
-Getting to be on good terms with Duke Kolvoroso of Highwall and Marquis Xerxes.
-Paying for the nobility's drinks, and thus, getting my name on their lips.
-Changing the the flow of a losing fight with one gas globe (alchemy saves lives)
-Leading pretty much a lynch mob against Talon

2. From your side? Nothing! Everything was fantastic. Personally? I was trying to play Ruki a little differently this month. A little harder/with more of an edge....I feel like I did that a little bit, but not enough So mostly just disappointed in myself there.

3. More situations that may end up leading to player on player conflict (like Talon's stuff? That was great).

4. "Celeste I..." Ruki was speaking, when a particular nose-y halfling made his way into their private conversation.

"Be careful of this one Ruki. She tells tall tales," Diggs smiled, trying to be helpful.

"That's my wife, Diggs," he snarled. For the first time in a long while, he felt like he and Celeste were on the same side...even though it only lasted a moment.

1. -Again, being able to announce the two Thane's and the ones son. And not messing it up completely. See Billin can be loud if he wants.
-Being the one that was approached for the hammer outfitter mod when Scarlett could not be found. It is really neat to see that Billin has made enough of a name for himself that he is reconized.

2. -In the heat of the last battle haveing Stig not initially reconize me and therefore hit me twice with his big sword. That hurts when you have no armor! Don't worry, I don't blame Stig at all :)
-land sharks... don't like how there is very little that we can do to defend against them. But the npc's did a great job playing them.

3. Hammer Outfitter stuff! And as much as Billin doesn't like have so much attention on him I really enjoy the plot with the Thane.

4. Taking a deep breath Billin enters the main hall for the masquerade. "Announcing the Thane of Emberforge and his son" 'I do hope that that is not disrespectful' Billin thought, and after another quick breath he continued, "and the Thane of Kalac'mor" 'I do hope that announcing them in that order was the right thing to do..' but after they had entered in behind him and they did not say anything Billin let out a sigh of relief and went back to socializing with his fellow brothers and sisters in arms.

Seeing Cory try to take out a Noble. That quite interesting what transpired afterwards from that. Attacks happening while nobles were present. It keep everyone on alert.
Dawn's Bartender was hilarious.

2. Post your less favorite moments (if we don't know, we can not fix)
Having to wait past 8 pm to finally eat. Far from impressed from that. I know there was rescue missions for nobles. I'm fine doing that for mods but perhaps if you want to do something similar like that in the future, maybe only have us be in "Ogres Head" till 5 pm instead of 6. We'll still get do those mods plus eat about 7 instead of 8.!!!

3. What you would like to see more of
A good mixture of rp and combat mods

4. Give us a moment from the perspective of your character
Nakor was with 2 others fighting those whom dared to come attack during the masquerade. They pushed the attackers back. Nakor trying to time a spell to hit one of the attackers finds himself get hit with a sword that drops. He awakens by someone healing him. He gets back up and helps fight the attackers.

a) when escorting the dark elf nobles having them acknowledge me over the homeguard lieutenant there was kind of fun plus the escort missions in general.
b) having that same homeguard acknowledge my skill with a blade
c) getting to be a little 'drunk' as mar was really fun
d) trying to get newer players to interact with the nobles was also really fun having these characters and players all scared to approach the guests of honour and practically pushing them up was a great interaction.

2. Post your less favorite moments (if we don't know, we can not fix)
honestly nothing on the plot side that comes to mind it was a pretty well crafted night

3. What you would like to see more of
at the next ball we must get more people dancing after all these are balls XD

4. Give us a moment from the perspective of your character
Mar bites his lip and grips his mask as the breachers walk towards the ball the streets were this chaotic and they were going to a party of all things.......at least he could quiet his annoyance in that at the party he may have a chance to convince the nobles of the dire need to restore safety to the streets. (spoiler I didn't get that chance as much as I wanted to XD)

1. Oh my God, what a fun event! So many favorites...
- NOT getting executed despite flagrant disrespect to pretty much all the nobles
- Helping the Sect with Talon and still remaining completely ignorant because that's how Aisling do
- Explaining the dance of my people to a few nobles
- Conversations with the Shabbawhatever Sultana lady and the Grand Marshal were really fun
- THE FOOD WAS ALL SO GOOD, I'm so sad I didn't have any container to take leftovers home in!
- Constantly being rescued from saying too much to a noble by Siegart, bless him
- Aisling now has a very twisted view on human parties. Assassination attempts are a must, yes?
2. My dress didn't come on time and I had to make do, that was sad! xD But nothing you guys can fix! Otherwise I'd say not being able to eat until really late, I was suuuper starving by the time we were allowed to eat and it sort of interfered with my medication schedule, I have to take my medication with food and so I took it a few hours late.
3. DANCING. WHAT KIND OF A PARTY IS IT WITHOUT DANCING?
4.

So this was what a palace looked like? FANCY. She'd gotten just the weensiest bit lost on her way here, but some kind (and HANDSOME) guardsmen had directed her to the location of the party. Honestly, she'd expected the palace to be a bit bigger and more castle-y after the descriptions people gave her, but this was still wildly impressive. Bouncing into the party, the Tari Nor took a look around her and immediately made a beeline for the mountains of food she spotted laid out resplendently on a massive banquet table. She had heard that there was going to be a feast, but this was the most food she'd ever seen at once! Wow, human parties were pretty neat!

Just as the teen was reaching out a hand to grab a tasty-looking cinnamon roll off of a silver platter, a hand bedecked in pink jewelry lightly smacked her away. "You can't eat yet! We have to wait for the nobles!" Aisling took a long, hard look at the mystery person before her. It was so hard to tell the difference between people when they wore masks and didn't have horns! "Becky?" The silver-dressed Tari Nor hazarded a guess, judging from the sheer amount of pink, and the familiar pink tartan now draped upon her figure like a sash. After receiving confirmation that she was, indeed, speaking to the fashionable Barbarian, Aisling proceeded to loudly voice her opinion on yet another silly human custom she was faced with. "That seems dumb. I'm hungry noooow! Why do we have to wait for the nobles?" The child whined as she was steered away from the banquet table, casting one last longing glance over her shoulder at the tempting cinnamon rolls and other goodies on display. Why would they put them out if you couldn't eat them yet? Furthermore, why did they have to wait for some silly fancy people to show up before they could eat? It was such a stupid rule!

Aisling perked up at the sight of Siegart, along with a bunch of people in masks she didn't recognize. "Siegart! Your mask is so sparkly!" Just as she began greeting her friend, some random noble showed up and everyone started making a big fuss of them, bowing and scraping. The happy-go-lucky Tari Nor waved cheerfully at the incoming person, and was rapidly yanked down into a bow by Siegart. Another dumb human rule. Wasn't this supposed to be a party? Parties were celebrations! Everyone was equal at a party! Evidently, at human parties, this was not the case. "This is my first ever human party! I'm so excited!" She had informed everyone who would listen to her of this fact. Human parties were shaping up to be a lot less exciting than Tari Nor parties.

No dancing. No eating until nobles got here. Gotta bow to nobles EVERY TIME. No hitting on nobles. She couldn't wait for the orgy to start, because this party was kind of boring otherwise. "So when is the orgy scheduled to start?" Aisling questioned loudly, causing several nobles to turn their heads and gawp at the audacity of this little Tari Nor. "There is none. Humans don't have those at their parties." Siegart explained with a mournful note in his voice to the violet-eyed forest child. NO ORGIES? What the heck kind of party was this? What did humans even DO for fun? Bow to each other, apparently. That didn't sound like a lot of fun to her. Aisling sincerely hoped the party would get more interesting, and fast. She later would regret this thought completely and immediately, for while assassination attempts are certainly interesting, they are by no means fun.

The sheer joy of unleashing 99% of my power in one fight, even though I regretted it later.
Only having one noble call me out for having abandoned my shoes at a fancy party.
Calling the nobility out for not inviting Selunari leaders to these things. Who cares about the politics? They'd throw a great party!
Having some rp to back up Zou's choice in specializing for the arcane sanctum.

Nothing on the plot end.

3. What you would like to see more of
I don't know. I feel like I'm still getting my larp legs back.

Adeline Primrose Zou D'etoiles followed dutifully on the heels of her mentor, Seigart Autumn-Walker. She had abandoned her shoes a while back, the strappy, glorious heels that Siegart had helped her choose out. They hurt like mad and had been something of an inconvenience when violence had broken out on the streets. She hoped this wasn't against one of the many rules that these eshdir seemed to hold so dear. She had thought her people were beholden to tradition but they had nothing on these humans...and the others. She felt the gentle tug of Sela, knowing it was her Cousin Rovinder (Sp?), she spared only a brief glance. That was a puzzle she wasn't sure she was ready to pick at yet. Her attention returned to Siegart and the noble he was speaking with, dark eyes scanning the youthful face of the spry young man. His smile was pleasant enough, she decided, though it felt as if something was hiding behind it. She had already forgotten the man's name. He and Siegart were in conversation involving elementals and animals. She was hardly paying attention, though she smiled politely and nodded when it seemed needed. Her thoughts drifted to the Grand Marshall and the woman she kept thinking was a sultana but had been corrected on..oh the titles. They meant so very little to her. But those two women, now they were intriguing. She wished she had more of a reason to approach them, if only for the conversation, but she was outside their circle and dared not break any rules. Idly, she began to plan her coming weeks. She could not wait to get back to her work and to seeking out her Caravan.
