***Last of a Legacy***

For most of his life, Simean was not himself. Ages of distant history cloud his mind and form an almost incomprehensible blur. His alien form did not permit much understanding of the cultures his true people’s legacy spawned. It is for these cultures he draws upon what may be the remainder of his power. But it will all be worth it.

The legacy of of his kin had become corrupt, grotesque. None embodied this more than “Lord” Tzero. Simean was going to see him destroyed. There was no other punishment that could come close to what was deserved.

It had always been Simean’s talent, intentional or not, to destroy things or create such engines. Perhaps with these last few masterpieces he would garner redemption for the atrocities his kin committed across the continent. Whatever the case, he would see it done.

After a long day’s labour, he sat down with a quill and parchment. Thereupon he scribed a letter calling those that rescued him and the local lord together. He had a plan, daring and hopeful; all that was left was to put it to action. He would be returning home for the first time in millennia.

We have a couple announcements regarding the event.

The first announcement is that there will be no listen-up either day of the event. The Maelstrom campaign did this at their last weekend event to great success, and we will be following suit. All information you would normally receive at listen-up will be given to you in printed form along with your character card. When you have checked in, read over the announcements, and gotten into costume, you may be in-game (please wear a white headband and stay away from in-game areas if you are still getting yourself prepared). Staff, cast, and crew will be starting in-game antics at around noon; If you arrive late, we will have ways for your characters to get involved in what is currently going on, but you may miss a lot of context for what is happening.

The second announcement is that we need all the NPCs we can get. No, really. All of them. See this thread for more info:

The third announcement, and this is as vague as I can manage for the sake of avoiding spoilers, is that people who normally bring tavern props should feel free to leave them behind this event. Staff will be providing some (sparse) props for the tavern. Please trust us that it is better this way and that this is temporary.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

So, Gamer house will be open for people to come hang out and RP or just socialize post game down Saturday.

We have a hot tub. If you want to go in, you should bring swim wear and $5. We have some loaner swim wear if you give us a head's up. The $5 is to help offset the house bills for operation.

Cut off will be 10 PM, hard... 'cause it was way too hard to get up and get there on time the next morning for a lot of folks, myself included.

If you're from out of town or just far enough away and you'd like to crash at Gamer central, please let us know ASAP. We have plenty of space, we just need to organize it for you.

This is for Saturday evening only. Tribute of soda and nibbles is desirable. Please no chips. >.<
