Fave moments of February 06

Lots of fun stuff this event, kept very busy. Some (but far from all!) of the highlights:

- Bringing Yasmay back. Neat scene (for what I was there of anyways ;).
- Mr. Hawks' undead pirate RP mod. Arrr, I be losin' th' feelin' in me toes, mateys!
- Finally getting to bring Froth back. Yay!
- Toasting Daylynn and Kiarra's celebration.
- Talking to the Queen of Nightmares and seeing eye to eye with her on a number of important issues.
- The Void Creature's killing. Aziraphel was great to watch. It was also a great feeling to lead a well-knit, cohesive group which kept together, stayed in formation, executed well, and kept each other up while sealing off a quadrant of the area.
- Trade deals (heh heh heh), along with various plots, schemes, etc. with all manner of people.
- Many more!

I would like to extend a VERY big thanks to "my crew" as they were called (by others, not me! I swear!). Avaran, Alavatar, Aeris, Kasuni, Nakia - THANK YOU guys for the great RP with all of you throughout the weekend. It was a ton of fun being around all of you. Bonus members this event include Johnathan Hawks (we'll make you a permanent member yet!). You guys make it worth playing Polare! I'm truly honored that you choose to stick around me even though Polare can be such an ******* in-game ;)

In addition it was great to see everyone up from Cali whom I haven't seen in too long - Aziraphel, Krieger, Eveq, Tulbor, Trystan, etc. as well as the East Coasters as a group (gaggle? horde? herd?).

i think i'd have to have one of my favorite moments as the feeling of unease when the HORDE of undead came out of the trees, all of them surrounding Merryweather and Yanco and i, and Yanco and Merryweather had a nice little chat while i nervously looked around and saw all of these HUNGRY faces eyeing me, fingers twitching anxiously on their weapons.

it was real fear, and it was impressive and fun.

And of course, seeing 15 screaming weapon-swnging bodies all pursuing Polare in a mob was enjoyable as well *mostly because they were pursuing him and not me *

That was definitely a fun one. It's so gratifying to have a big baddie come into town with a good-sized army and tell you that he's come here to kill you specifically. Nice guy, though; he let me finish eating first, at least!

And the last-minute dash back up between the wings of the army coming around the Healer's Guild... then the swap with Alavatar to sneak out later on... good times :)

As for our meeting, i'm sorry it didn't work out timewise, but to be honest Jax was quite put off by Polare's behaviour *grin* i'm glad to know it was all in-character asshat-edness, but..yeah..threw me for a loop..
 
Speaking of the Event...

So speaking of the event how was the whether down there? Was it really wet and rainy or were you blessed with our lovely whether we had that weekend? Granted it was a bit nippy on a few nights.

I have no idea when I'm coming back to Seattle, but I'm sure I'll post something when I decide to come home (i.e. run out of money). So everyone have fun while I'm gone and nobody die in game while I'm away!

Awww..who is going to look after me now when Eli is away. *cries* So sad...You will be missed because I did like your character and my character did care about yours, but I'm not quite sure how close she felt to yours. I suppose you showing a caring side to her made her care as well. Very few people have shown they even care she exists. If my boyfriend could have come with me to that Event he would have probably stuck to me like glue as Geezil. O.O

No problem, it's all good. Polare has his own, uh, predilictions that are not my own :)
