During the last game while Queenie and I were playing the Millers, Bessie Miller said she'd bake some folks "a nice bread pie". We all had a big laugh, and when we told Jimmy on the way back from game we all howled about it.

So on a whim... I looked it up tonight.

OMG... it exists.

Other than that hilarity, a great shout out to the PC crew who performed Secret Operation: Stupid O'clock. Can't wait to see how it plays out.

Also, I said it at Closing, I'll say it again, that last fight as hot springs lizards was great. I love NPCing for a really well matched fight, not because I might "win" but because I know that it gave that "whoa that was close" feeling without needing to actually rez folks. Thank you so much for that.

Apparently, I wasn't making up a new word. I thought I was having a brain-fart from tiredness. THERE REALLY IS BREAD PIE. I'm an accidental GENIUS! EAT MAH BREAD PIE BITCHES!

Serious props to both PCs and NPCs for "Mission Impossible: Stupid O'Clock." Faith in races that aren't gypsies: somewhat restored. :D

There are tons more that I'll post this evening, but I really wanted to get that one out. :)

I think my favorite quote this event was from Alavatar regarding the advisability of walking into an unknown circle: "No, you don't understand: I have a theory."

I really enjoyed this event. In particular it was nice to see the Miller's come in appreciating things done last and in-between events. It felt like I was being included in a larger community that was evolving and my character was pivotal in. Really cool. Oh, I want my bread pie!

Of course the epic late night showdown was the highlight of my event. No only was the encounter a blast, but the set up too. Working with plot and the other players both in and out of game reduced the down time so we were able to focus on the mission at hand. The whole thing went smoothly and very little oog waiting. Good job team.

Finally, while I was not directly involved in it, Sam's send off was packed full of emotion. Its nice to see emotional investment on the players towards npc's and this scene showed it all.

What a crazy event, I had a blast the whole time with all that was going on.

Operation become a gypsy was my favorite. I've had a blast with the whole plot line and the adventure was awesome.

Going on the covert op with Tannis, Vanyel, Boganzi and Teth. We were surprisingly effective and put in work all for the disappointment of not getting the artifact piece.

All of the drama surrounding the large circle and learning how I feel about the political structures in place in the valley.

Operation stupid O'clock mission was so great. Big thanks to Plot and the NPC's for rolling with us on our mission. Also thanks to the rest of the PC's for being willing to risk everything to come with us.

In no particular order as always:

-Stupid O'Clock mod was lots of fun, I'm glad we got to do it
-Good Roleplay all around, especially during the Spirit Farewell. Watching so many PCs invested was really heartening. Advancing some slow burning storylines that are just about ready to start pushing harder.
-Some great lair card bits: Kirsten's crazy cute sheep, Ghost Foxes and Fox-kin sizing each other up.
-The Gypsy creation stories made the Racial Transform so much fun (And making ritual marshal, yay!)
-Being semi-inadvertently pinchered on 3 sides by all the PCs Saturday night. The moment of "There's a lot of them there, let's go that way...oh there's more, hey let's get out of...oh there's some more behind us, and that's a golem. Shoot."

Secret Mission: Stupid O'Clock. The likelihood of success. The likelihood of survival. The moment our primary enemies arrive and I'm thinking to myself, "This is it!"

Then the feeling of being a complete and total badass. Also, after replaying the fight in my head later, figuring out a couple of tips that could have made it easier, which has been neatly filed away for future fights.

Completing said Secret Mission without any of the Legendary Highbies made it even more awesome.

Guard cabins. Are. Awesome.

Friendly Draxian! Or at least she was. Sorta friendly.

...until Vanyel and Avaran went Food Processor on her...:(
