i thought they had a life span of 5 years..
 
The confusion comes about because they tend to run at liches and thus rarely live past 6. Who knows, if you lock one in a room and feed it an ogre might live 300 years. :P

I played a female orc once. She had a goatee and blonde hair and a pretty flowered skirt. She was hot. There is a picture somewhere out there. I think it was Jess Brown's skirt. I know it was Alison (Baroness Talin)'s wig.

True story from Caldaria:

I'm sitting in NPC camp attempting to help the next round of stuff go out. My mom happens to be NPCing that weekend -- I think it might've been her first weekend, or her second. One of the plot staff guys tells me that he needs to send out a lesbian dwarf to hit on one of our dwarven nobles, who's also female.

I, of course, turn to my mother. "Hey mom, do you want to play a lesbian dwarf?"

I have never seen her look more excited about something in my life.
 
that was called Dwarf Love fishbowl...i REALLY wanted to play a female dwarf to try out my new beard..JP says "I need two female dwarves" i was like OH HECK YEAH!! he said "one is a lesbian and is infatuated with the baroness" i was like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh "the other is after a good time with another dwarf guy" i'm like I'll play the straight one...because i knew i couldn't play a lesbyterian very well...so your mom played the lesbian and we had the BEST TIME!!!! i had more fun role playing with your mom!!! so we go out and she's trying to find the baroness...and i'm trying to keep a straight face because she's really getting into it about "i can't sleep i MUST find her!" and i'm supposed to find a dwarf guy to hit on and who do i see but.....The Sherrif...and i'm like So uhhhh I'm lookin' for a good dwarf....are you a good dwarf? he says "i'm the best" i was like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (thinkin)maybe this isn't the best role for me to play since i don't know how to flirt
