October 15th, 1511, was five years ago as of today.
For those that may not recall, that was the day when the then Crown Prince Talon returned to Gaden after his disappearance following the Reclaiming of Kalmok's Anvil. Between the time of his vanishing and reappearance, Gaden was distraught and almost crumbling, and it all came down to a single night that would determine our nation's fate going forward. It was a difficult night, a painful night, but in the end, our then Prince was able to rejoin his Father to restrengthen our kingdom.
I find that day to be an important point in history for Gaden.
Gaden has grown as a force to be reckoned with since that fateful day. In these five years, we have triumphed over countless foes, swelled our pools of knowledge, perfected ideas and strategies we never thought possible in the past, and even now prepare to further confront the problems that have loomed over our people for centuries. Gaden is no longer the country that will hold against the tide of Corruption; Gaden is the country that will stand and push against the tide until that tide breaks.
Under the rule and support of now King Talon, a man who has seen the deepest depths of the Corrupt's Weave and lived to tell the tale, we will end this threat that has plagued us for too long.
