Fort Hood Shooting information.

Hey everyone, just got off the phone with Josh Clark. Joy Clark (formerly Nelson) was at Fort Hood during the shooting working, she was injured in the shooting and is being taken to the hospital. From what Josh told me she was shot in the arm. I will let you know more information as I get it. He just wants to ask everyone for there good vibes/prayers (whatever you do) that she will be healthy and that the doctors will have great wisdom in her care.

As we speak Josh is heading down there by car, it is a 13 hour haul so please give him your best wishes as well for safe travels.

If you have any questions I will try to answer them the best that I can, otherwise the news is filled with it too.

... oh goody...So what..... drag him into the streets and hang him. Real easy, do we really need to waste money or judicial time with a hearing. Beat him, drag him into the streets, and hang him. Thank goodness for Texas, they got a death row express lane.

In the end its a friggin shame, thoughts go out to.

Emotions run wild after tragic events like this, but we need to make sure we aren't turning into the same type of monster like this guy already is.
 
Poor Joy! She'll be fine, no doubts. That's terrible that that had to happen. Everyone involved will be in my prayers tonight. :(
 
Joy and her family are in my thoughts.

She came out to the National Event in PA last year and is a quality, quality lady. She was nothing but helpful throughout the symposium and weekend. A true pleasure to be around.

That is horrible. They are both definitely in my prayers.
 
Someone should set up a chip-in so we can toss in $10-$20 each to get her flowers, cards, or *something*. I don't know. I know it's not much, but I think she would appreciate some sort of support from the Alliance community. I'll pledge to donate.

You are both in my thoughts. Will send you all the good vibes I can. I can remember how Joy helped get my wife addicted to the game. She was a great person. Get well soon, we will miss you in the game.

Hey just wanted to give you all an update. I checked my phone this morning and had gotten a text from Josh, he made it down to Texas fine and passed out for a while. Joy is doing good from what I hear, she is on pain meds until surgery on Tuesday. Now they are just waiting to find out if they can go to a Hotel or if they go back to the barracks.

Will let you know more as soon as I know!

And I think that setting up a fund or something for sending card/flowers is a great idea! I am not the greatest with Paypal...mostly because I hardly ever have a reason to use it. So if I don't give enough information someone yell at me :)

This is so nuts -- I met Joy a few weeks ago at the Caldaria closer. When I heard the news, I had no idea that's where she was stationed. Best wishes to her and Josh, seriously.
