Gary Gygax fails saving throw vs. death

it is a sad day in geekdom. The character sheets shall fly at half mast. Gary Gygax, creator of D&D, has died. I wish I had the time for a marathin D&D game this weekend...

I remember being a nino back In Texas when I was 11 and getting to play D&D for the first time. I made a human magic user that used a sword (at the time that was not possible) I don't know what happened to those kids I used to play with but for me since then it's been hours of D&D, larping and warhammer. My roomie called me when he found out about the death and I think he was a little more than shaken, as for me I just plan to keep on playing the games I love and adding GG to my list of dead homies.

RIP Dungeons Master indeed.

Ernest Gary Gygax: July 27, 1938 - March 4, 2008

Just fond out I shared a birthday with the late Mr. Gygax.

Nice pic Justin. I think DnD is what got most of us started on this journey into extreme geekdom. My giant D20 will be retired in his honor.

We will now have a moment of.... *rolls dice* ..... senseless yammering for the dead.... damn random charts.
