Alliance San Francisco is excited to announce our new gobin stamp policy!

Acquiring Goblin Stamps

Donations are now to be presented and evaluated at logistics, and goblin stamps awarded by the logistics staff in accordance with the published wish list. If you wish to donate something not on the list please discuss this with the plot team during downtime. Logistics will not accept donations that have not been approved prior to the event at which they are being donated.

Players will now receive 50 goblin stamps per logistics period of each full game they NPC.

Players will receive 15 goblin stamps for completing an event summary or event review (a total of 30 for both). Players will also receive, once ever, 15 goblin stamps for completing a plot survey.

Goblin stamps may be awarded to volunteers that perform certain tasks (helping at logistics, acting as a marshal, etc) or for attending and/or helping out at downtime functions.

Spending Goblin Stamps

Goblin stamps may be spent in between events, with your preregistration or at the first logistics period of each event. In addition to what is listed in the Alliance Rulebook, you may now spend goblin stamps in the following manner by emailing logistics@alliancesf.net :

1. You may purchase LCO magic items from a list of pregenerated items, which will be available at the first logistics period of each game. These items last one year from the date of purchase (or until used in the case of once-ever items). This list is first-come, first served, and once an item is selected from the list it will be removed and replaced with another item.

2. You may purchase certain scrolls and the reagents to cast them. These ritual materials will be clearly marked as LCO, and any items created with them will also be delineated LCO.

The list of available scrolls is found here.

3. Tidings of the Ancestors* - These are powerful packages of effects you may purchase which last only for the event at which they are purchased. Each Tiding has three levels, costing 100, 200, and 300 goblin stamps repectively. Players may spend no more than 300 goblin stamps per game on these Tidings, and may purchase no more than one Tiding from any category. The effects of a Tiding are nontransferrable and may be used only by the purchasing player. A list of packages is contained in an attached document.

This policy is effective immediately, and replaces the previous goblin stamp policy in entirety.

*We would like to thank Alliance Crossroads, whose Gryphon Gift packages provided the inspiration for our Tidings of the Ancestors.

There have been a few changes to the Tidings of the Ancestors.

First, the costs have been reduced for tier 2 and tier 3 packages.

Second, the number of packages available has been reduced. We noticed several packages not seeing any use, and several packages seeing extremely heavy use.

Third, after feedback on the various packages strengths and weaknesses, the packages available have been revamped.

The new Tidings will be available at the next event. The old Tidings are no longer available.

Please also note that the Burst pool provided by the Elemental Master Tiding does not also grant wand damage.

The Ritual Scroll list has been updated. Costs of scrolls include the reagents required for the base casting. Additional reagents may be purchased at a cost of 90 goblin stamps each.

Catalysts may not be purchased.

Enchant, Expanded Enchant, and Channel Spell may not be used to create items with a 9th level spell.
