I had a talk with Tim, the site caretaker, about nuts at the site. We are now allowed nuts at the site, but there is a limitation; they must not be brought into the Tavern. This means you can have any type of nut you would like in your cabin/tent, or with you while you travel around, but if you go to the tavern it is imperative that you leave them outside. The tavern will not be providing a nut protection receptacle.

Yeah so excited all the energy bars have nuts in them and many times I do not have time to grab something real to eat so grabbing an protein/energy bar is soo much easier.

This is why we never see any while we are there, you've damaged their natural environment. Like the elusive pixie-fairy of bubbleyum forest, girlscouts are vulnerable to nuts so now you have to clap a bunch to prove you believe in them so they dont die out.
