Graduating!!!

I am finally, after thirteen years of school (yes, I am counting kindergarden) I am out for good until the 10 years I intend on spending in college, but that's beside the point So anyway...I was wondering if I could get a "w00t w00t" from you guys that would be awesome plus anyone else who happens to be graduating this year give a shout out!

Lucky... *envious muttering* I'm stuck in the angsty fish-shooting barrel for another two years. (nice signature, btw)

Seriously, congratulations. What do you plan on studying in college for 10 years?

I am going to be a clinical psychiatrist. I hope one day to end up in a mental institution....but NOT as a patient! :D

Don't worry, the angsty, fish barrel years fly by....Aw who am I kiddin'! They took FOREVER!! But don't worry, Amelia, they end! :D

WoOt WoOt!!!!

Good for you!!!

To bad for me though cause I'm stuck in the hell known as high school for 3 more years :?

Wait until the adults find this thread and start prattling on about how easy we kids have it followed by a string of "back in my day" adages. Wait for it....wait for it....

What?! Could it be I'm not the youngest here anymore?

No, mostly due to the fact that all the guidance counselors burst out laughing when I tell them I want to go to school for
a) a BFA in theatre or
b) a phD in philosophy.
I thought about psychology for a long time, because I love figuring out how people think. But the problem is: I don't like dealing with people themselves. (no offense, all you people)

That's fine. They all work on the premise that the "philosophy store isn't hiring". I have some friends that were laughed out of the guidance councilor's office for similar reasons.

I agree. A friend of mine is the best techie I've ever met. She wants to be a professional prop manager. She was basically told to go to tech school and learn a real trade.

Practical, but mean.
