My name is Alyssa Adams. I am interested in this LARP since my last one got a new insurance company making it so I have to be 18 to play. And so, in searching for a local LARPing site, I found Alliance Deadlands! To me, this site seems right up my alley. I was wondering if there was anyone who lived in the Sullivan County area who would be willing to teach me some basic rules before the event? I can most likely get a ride to meet you wherever you want, but I'm looking for a kind of tutor to teach me the basics. The last LARP I did I was taught most things before going, including campaign design, basics about rules, and most effective fighting styles in this method of gaming. Even someone to just email me a bit with rules would be helpful. My email is alyssaadams348@yahoo.com. Any advice about this game or if you would be willing to teach me would be great and much appreciated!

as I said in the emails with you back and forth the game is moderately basic, and I will be doing a run down of the basic rules before the game in a new player training session. Feel free to meet up with some of the players and aquaint yourself with the rules beforehand though. Also, like I said feel free to grab a book in Npc camp if one is available, or better yet just pick one up they are inexpensive.
