Da Vampire, or da Necromancy Wars came before the blight, this caused undeads to have survived and seen the experience firsthand.
Da Vampire’s controlled bastard blight to push da blight in such a manner to ensure dey had political power and were able to guide da kingdoms within da expanse to their wishes and desires. Adventurers were unfunded and blamed for what occurred, until a new king was crowned. Dis was an early blight. Da blight returned, and again the adventurers had grown to a point where dey were a non-entity, until dey forced da people of da expanse to rise up in rebellion. But the Blight had taken hold of da kingdom at dat point.
Dis was learned from watching and being in a play directed from Da Maestro, so der might be some fiction as well as some fact as dat was a long time ago.
