Brought him home last night. He's made himself at home in my computer room closet. (It's the safest place away from our daughter. :) )

He came with the name Tigger (I guess because he's a bengal, but he's not orange.) We're not sure if we wanna keep that name or give him another. Suggestions welcome. :D

(And yes, I'm showing you all my toilet paper.)

Oooo a Bengal! Bengals are super smart and are supposed to be people/pet friendly and they shed lightly. They are like cat-dogs. LOL.

I am getting either two Ocicats or two Bengals when we return to the States.

He's silver... hmm. Maybe Tiger instead of Tigger. If you rename him he may be confused for a while.

Why would you get a cat? Seriously... I've never seen the appeal.

Because cats....once they like you, you've got a friend for life......until the nearest thing resembling a threatening situation comes along then you're on your own......but they're also delicious! :)

Tyson, you should name it POM as that is what is on its box...

I was thinking more along the lines of POM, like POM 400, the brand of toilet paper Tyson uses...

I agree...

and the juice isn't half bad either...

POM juice... not toilet paper juice...

Yeah!

Class it up a little bit!

Exactly! My cats are both named after 60's and 70's pop culture characters. Kizzy of Roots fame and Zira of Planet of the Apes fame.

Got a goldfish named Shagahad. Russian for "shredding behemoth". He's about lived up to the name.

You should have gotten 100 betas and named the one that lived Shagahad...

How 'bout "Granate" (like granite, he's gray) so my wife, and later daughter, don't call him Pom-Pom.

I've been calling him Tigs lately. That also seems to work.

Pom-Pom's not bad...

He's (hopefully) neutered anyway... so its not like it matters if the other cats think his name is a little wishy-washy...

plus then it is a nod toward both sources of Pom

i've learned that cats will come to whatever tone you use. my cat's name is Spit and if i say "mooooomely mew mew" or even "boozerly mews!" or "who's mama's spoiled brat?" yeah....all those work...she's my baby shmoozer....wish i had pics i'd post em...i still am in the dark ages with a 35 mm camera...and a networking thin client BAH! as for the kitty??? oh man it/she/he looks like such a loverbug....as for names...let the kid name it?

snarf?
