I now have a cat

Yes, two cats are great. My wife and I each had a cat before she moved in. They hate each other. The best that they get along is when they're ignoring each other. They seem to enjoy pissing each other off by taking each others' comfortable spots. And the late night fights that sound like one of them is getting murdered is quite a treat.

I know this is caused by the fact that both of them grew up being the only cat in the house, so it's all a territory thing. Things should get more interesting once we move into our new house and get a dog.
 
my spittoonia refuses to let the dog know that he exists. my parents have a shitzu and once in a while they bring him over for visits and when he walks in the house he wigs out at the cat and tries to play/fight. she looks at him nonchalantly and wanders upstairs to the other half of the house where she knows the dog is not allowed.
 
my cat does jump in the shower with me from time to time and she has her own fountain of water for showering but....whiskey???? DEAR LORD i've never tried it!!!
 
we had a cat who would come swimming and would shower with us after. But that's just a watercat thing, some do some don't. Had a friends who's cat drank coffee, black, no sugar, no cream. Just like the human. Watching him flex his claws every time Bob tried to take a drink was amusing, human drank After kitty was done.

he also drank beer, but I don't think beer and coffee top a whiskey slugging kitty
