IBGA/Plot Submissions, November 414

New plot submission (IBGA) forms are now live!

Since we are now such a large chapter we are–for the plot team's sanity–moving to a system similar to that used by Seattle and other large chapters.

This isn't actually a change–it's the same basic format outlined on the website already–but to help us manage it we've added a form that will let us check boxes and make sure that people don't slip through the cracks and, when we miss someone will help us keep track of that between events. Basically we are formalizing the system that was already more-or-less in place and then putting some additional management tools around it for our own benefit.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or feedback. Your feedback and responses will inform how we evolve this process for next year.

When are the IBGAs for the winter due?

-Jules

Could we also get some guidance on how many BGAs we will be allowed for the winter? One between events? One per month?

Thanks,
Trace

I'm working on the date question, it will probably be around 3—4 weeks from now.

One between each event is the current plan.

Can they be longer than the typical Postcard since we are covering more time?

Any single major action you can fit within the character limit.

We'll be closing the IBGA form at the end of January 1st/start of January 2nd.

Last day for Plot Submissions/IBGAs! We'll be starting to answer them as we get closer to our next event. This is a "soft close" in that we may accept some submissions after this date under certain circumstances (e.g., if you are waiting for us for something right now), but unless there are special circumstances this is the last day to turn them in.

I'm sending a variety of letters with my IBGA, as they will likely be over character limit I'll drop them to plot @ the usual email addy.

(last minute like usual...)

Don't worry about the character limit for letters since they are basically a minor action. Just send those to Plot directly and note in the minor actions that you are sending letters and we'll take it from there ^_^

Awesome, thank you!
