Some have expressed that they do not feel the illithid was permanently disposed of, that perhaps there was/is a better way. To those who believe this, I ask you to speak up now, because our opportunity to take further actions is fast slipping away. I am working on one angle as we speak (including Grimm's helpful suggestion), and want to hear any and all others so they can be considered / researched before the next gathering.
I plan to set aside my other projects to make it to at least part of the upcoming gathering so this issue can be dealt with once and for all.
