Important site info, so people will know what to expect.
Camp Greilick is where we are holding our event. The camp is also being rented to two other groups that same weekend, (cub scouts and a search and resque training group,hey if anyone gets lost the experts are right there). They will not disrupt our gameplay area, but there are a couple rules we have to follow while they are there. Vehicle speed must be slow (I think that the max on grounds is 10-15mph). We have to use a back road to the cabins that we use. The showers are available but no one is to drive to them fom our cabins, they have to walk to them (cub scouts, little tikes running around and all that). It is a little hike, but overall not bad.
Other info on our site. Our rental site consists of 7 buildings. Gordon Pharo, Logistics/Tavern/PC sleep space. And the Dak's 2 cabins that are (for this event) PC sleep area and 4 cabins that are NPC camp. This is a rustic site with outhouses and no electricity. We have access to a shower building with flush toliets, but we have to walk from our camp area to them (alittle hike), shower building has power there. Aside from that we have no electricity except what we bring with us. We use a generator for lights to Gordon Pharo (where we have tavern). Do not mess with the power, lights, plugins. Our tavern is considered an area of "non agression" as there is to be no combat in the actual building. Gordon Pharo has a wash station with running water on the outside of it while the Dak area has a hand power water pump.
Directions when you arrive at the camp (the back road directions): When you pull into the drive way there are two roads/drives, one unpaved that goes to the left and one paved that goes slightly uphill to the right; take the right paved road. Shortly after that you'll come to a T intersection, turn right and you will see the camp director's house drive on the right and a road that goes downhill straight ahead. Go downhill and you wll pass through the camp's maintenance shack area. Go all they way through it and (even though it doesn't look like it till you are right next to it) there is a two track road on the left. Follow the two track for a bit (it is curvy and watch for roots, trees and such as they re right next to the road in spots, drive slow and they shouldn't be a problem :thumbsup: ) The two track road ends in a T junction, turn left to head toward Gordon Pharo building (logistics/PC sleep area), turning right gets you to two cabin areas (the two on the left are PC sleeping area, the four on the right with the pavilion are NPC camp).
