Interrupting a Rift

If a monster activates a Rift and loses skills mid-count due to Paralysis/Prison/Binding/Death, etc, does the ability get interrupted as well? Or is the Rift count completed regardless?


Also,

If a monster is Pinned/Confined/Webbed, is it able to rift regardless of the above ruling (as his feet are stuck to the ground), or do the powers of Rifting trump our mere mortal Bindomancy?

Rift is a Game Ability and anything which removes the ability to utilize Game Abilities will interrupt the Rift.
