he may have been asthetically pleasing to some...HOWEVER...he was NOT Darth Vader....he was....anakin...i like vader....heheheh

The Top Gun and War Machine nod were nice. And I picked up on the S- word in the very beginning..

Either I missed the Top Gun nod or I didn't realize it was from there. What was it?

I feel stupid I didn't catch the S-word until they said it at the end. I never caught the full title as he was saying it. I got lost at 'Homeland' every time. LOL
 
war machine is a little too nice for my liking, but other than that it was really good. the guy at the end ruins it for me. i detest the ultimate universe.
 
i would have picked someone else to play the head of S...i was thinking the guy who does the allstate commercials would be more....dark? but SJ is good too. I kept trying to catch the name of the department every time someone would say "you need to shorten the name" he'd say "yeah we're working on it" but i could only ever pick up on homeland as well HEHEHE
 
well in the ultimate universe the end guy is written and drawn to be the exact guy they picked.. so the casting is fine for that.. but i'm more into the classic storyline so i would have preferred the original "guy at the end" and therefore a different actor.

uhh... it's the number 1 movie in the U.S. right now... it's grossed $220,361,836 worldwide in the past week... and your theater doesn't carry it?
 
maybe its a theater that doesn't get movies until a week or two later? i used to have that problem if its a small town :(
 
Yeah, you can get a popcorn, a ticket, and a medium drink for 5 bucks. Or if it's a thursday, popcorn is free if you bring your own bucket.
 
i think we pay more for gas....we had to go to a bigger village to see iron man and it cost us 6.50 heheheh
 
exactly...the milk here is cheaper i know that..jeepers...whenever i go to the city i am so shocked at the price of stuff.
