Alliance Oregon is happy to announce the following policy. Starting after the chapter's next event, a list of randomly generated restricted magic items will be posted up which may be purchased with your Goblin Stamps from the applicable chapter.
Here's how this will work. The chapter, at some point following an event but always before the pre-reg deadline of the following event, will put up a new Restricted Item Purchase List. The list will describe the applicable set of rituals and the Goblin Stamp cost of the item. No physrep will be specified; you must supply the physrep (and if you choose to put the rituals on a Production item, you must have an applicable tag for the item - it is not included in the GS cost of the item). These items will always be Restricted (not LCO). This means that they will (almost always, though any chapter may implement more restrictive policies) travel to other chapters and do not count against your LCO magic item limit.
An item on the list may be purchased by sending an email to Logistics and requesting the item. This will cause the GS required to be deducted from those you have available. Each player may request only one item per list that is generated, and each item will be given to the first player to request it once the list is published. Players may no longer request items from the list after the pre-reg deadline for the next event has passed.
Once you have purchased an item, the MI tag will be supplied to you at the next event of that chapter after you have specified the physrep description to be put on the tag. Each item's duration will begin from the first day of that event, unless you arrange for it to be available earlier with the chapter's Logistics team. Note that such arrangements are at Logistic's discretion and may not always be available.
