Item Possession Questions

Just to make this request to ARC official...

1. Can you cauliflower gas globes?

2. Can you hold any tagged item in a hand (gas globes being included as they are a tagged item), and still legally wield a shield or weapon? Are there any allowable exceptions to this, such as gas globes?

Thanks.

Here is the official ARC clarification:

Current Rulebook under Legal Targets:

You may not hold more than one weapon in a hand and have the ability
to use those weapons. If you are holding more than one weapon in a
hand and one of those weapons is hit with a weapon blow, then you
must take the damage. For this purpose only, a shield is considered
a "weapon."

Add:

However, you may hold other small items, either IG or OOG, in your
weapon or shield hand and utilize that weapon or shield normally.
However, this must be done safely. For example: You may hold gas
packets, coins, spell packets, potions, etc. You may not hold a
bottle, piece of wood, a mug, etc. If a marshall feels your combat
has become unsafe because of what you are holding in your weapon or
shield hand, they may require you to empty your hand of the item
during combat.

Page 25 Packet Attacks:

Add:

You may not throw a packet with any other in game or out of game item
in your throwing hand. You may touchcast on your self or another
with an item in your hand, but this must be done safely and
courteously.
