This event was really great. I had tons of fun and can't wait to keep coming back. Huge thanks to all the staff who wrote/ran things and all the NPC's who let us beat on them all weekend long! Particular favorites include...

Having Gareth and Ondre up in the deadlands was awesome! Its always really fun to have more folks from the my team. Go go Phalanx!

Awesome Legion of the Vigilant stuff! Lots of great RP as we continue to shape and grow into what the Legion means/does.

Legion mod to Reclaim the land around the spirit tree was kick ***! Wow huge thanks to the NPC troopers and Gary especially who kept fighting us for literally an hour and a half non-stop. That 'mod' took me out for several hours following!

I'm sorry at one point loading up my crossbow held up the town... But using that this weekend was great. I know for the NPC's its real hard to keep track of all sorts of different affects hitting them and calculate the damage, but I appreciate the effort.

Chatting with Tabin about the Celestial Guild was great! I really hope we can make some progress on that project.

I'm sure there is more stuff that will come to mind, but for now this is what I have. Can't wait for more NH come Sept! :)
 
THANK YOU STAFF, THANK YOU NPCs! You guys are wonderful!

- Seeing everyone again. I miss you guys between games.
- Osiris Riddle and the helmet of doom.
- Getting ready to go on a mod and hearing the entire town freak out as Void ran rampant. "I'm sure they're just fine..."
- Awesome dexterity mod and the chaos lord fights that ensued after.
- Stupid o'clock shenanigans on Friday (technically Saturday, I suppose)
- Fightin' bears in first forest!
- Star (sp?). It was my first time meeting this character, and he's already one of my favorites. From terrifying incants to being willing to fight his way out of the deadlands with or without our help, I say bravo.
- The Swamp. Whether it's fairy tales from hell or that goddamn puppet, that plot got intense enough that I'm still shaking thinking about some of it. Amazing RP from everyone involved.
- Soylent Green plot, and the inevitable blame game resulting from it. After giving it thought, Caillen's still not sure what to believe.
- Being made Satrap of section A-6 of the Grey Bastion, and the utter confusion and worry resulting from it.
 
Woah I had a super fantastic fun weekend! Thank you to all PCs and NPCs who brought this weekend's game to life. So here are some favorites, in no particular order:

1. Lessons learned...
- Stay with the group
- Don't kill your healer
- "I grant you the power of a dispel"
2. Town battle in the deadlands... followed by six men/women in the deadlands... "oh ****"
3. Santet leashing Void, Void whispering temptations to Santet, Santet's crew of steadfast backpackers, Santet's resistance of the temptation, ultimately becoming the sacrifice that Void required if Santet did not take Void's offer -- awesome drama!
4. Keelie's resurrection story -- completely inspiring, I had goosebumps even with all the heat
5. Vansir unscaled module -- it was totally awesome rocking the glowing sword and being a part of an uber team. "Well we are running out of spell shields so Silent Wolf (who was prisoned) is going to take it for the team." Silent Wolf proved to not only take it but dish it and did an awesome job!
6. Hunterdragonheirophan Pavilion... it was awesome having all the people gathering around for drinks, food and good company
7. Late night talks with Casiv and Thrak, I really enjoyed the role play
8. All things Star/Shaheen; it is good to have you back buddy
9. Dryads clinging to trees--that was just creepy; by our heirophan powers combined we shall attempt to heal this land; Zant secreting away with one of the rescued "lost dryads" so that we could find a way to cure it only to realize later it was suffering
10. Promise made to Drenton, Ciaarah will always keep her word
11. All things Sadee Moore (SM) -- I love this whole plot line
12. Final battle, tension rising as Ciaarah fights to keep a promise, Ciaarah loosing her cool in the face of what she considers a healer's betrayal -- I loved all the role play from the result/consequences of Ciaarah's reaction. As Jaimi said at the closing ceremonies, it is so cool to have PC vs PC blow-ups take place IG and cause high drama but know that everyone is cool OOG and that when the game is over we can hug and grin and talk about how great of a time we had. Thanks so much to everyone involved who was a great sport!

Edited: Oh I almost forgot!! The whole Silas plotline is heart breaking. I will miss RPing with Ben as truly through your RP you add to the emotion and realism of this plot line.

I had a blast! I can't wait for the September event!!!

Oh my god, the number of NPC's.

A four year old being brought back to town and the things said around her. "So people trying to eat you or killing you to take your stuff is normal?" "Yes" ...

As that same four year old, being told things that really made no sense to a four year old and Lana then translating into kid speak.

Creepy creepy creepy puppet boy. Oh god. I didn't look in your face once while we were out for two reasons. One, it was in the character not to, but two, because it creeped me out too much.

On that same token, playing the "mother" of the puppet. I literally couldn't produce anymore tears by the end of that and I was actually feeling a bit sick to my stomach. There was some great rp there guys. Especially the walk back to the varda.

We'll miss you Ben!!!
 
OMG - so many.

1. As usual, how welcome everyone made us feel and how appreciative folks (players, staff, other NPCs) are of NPCs!

2. Getting to hear the setup for the puppet boy plot, then hearing the various PC reactions all night and the next morning.

3. During the Horrors wave battle - Having one player throw an awaken at me, realize what we were, and then say "Oh [explitive deleted]".

4. "Why didn't you just stop and ask for directions instead of eating him?"

5. The undead battle by the "cliff" where a few players accidentally got left behind when the rest of the town rifted out.

6. Mostly how much fun my wife had at her first event, and how excited she is to NPC again in Caldaria.
 
OMG I'm so glad that I got off my butt and came to NH again!

THANK YOU NPC's!!!!! This event couldn't have been possible and I loved everything you guys threw at us!

Walking into game completely pissed off cause the mists just dropped Lanna off there and seeing Callin first.......it couldn't have worked any better.

The 'nible' mod! OMG having to do all that and seriously thinking that "If I fall I'm gonna rez...." Then falling and comming out as a Chaos Lord....even though I forgot 2/3's of my stat card.....>.<

The bear mod....I got to use my first Charm!!!! YAY!

Playing dress up with Silas(SP?) when he turned himself in to a Romani!!! ((Ben I love that! I'm so sad that you wont be around. Good luck with the little one it was great to meet you!))

The Swamp Mod! OMG Jamie I love Pretty! Gah it was so Creepy!!!!!! Popping up randomly while we're trying to get out! Gods!

Dumbing down everything for the 4 year old. People talking to her like she's one of us and Lanna just going...OMG why do they think that she understands them!!!!!

Playing Greed/Farkle.....I love that game OOG and I knew the non-omputer way to play and it was fun for some one to bring it into game.

Teaching the Roma in deadlands the Icenian ritual! OMG I and So greatful for that! It was so much fun! I love it and again THANKS BEN! Gotta love Riddles!

The puppet child fish bowl and Lanna trying to finish the greed game but Callin freaking out. All she wanted to do was to see who won. People were seeming to take care of what was going on. So she wasn't really worried. Then almost flippin on Calin. So we fialy gave into him and went back to the swamp...I had a masive head ache after that mind F***

Taking in the mother....kinda put a kink in her dwarven fun later that night but it still worked! lmao.

Going back to the swamp first thing in the morning and getting that vision...OMG THANK YOU!!!! SOOOoooooOOOOOOOooooo Creepy!!!! I totaly went in there thinking that we were not going to save any kids....Still trying to figure out how that was conected to Little Bo Peep...... Saving 5 kid and then taking them back to the Varda and now having 5 kids a mother in her varda.....that are all from the same place...

Having Casive following Lanna around like a lost little puppy all day! OMG I thought it was so cute!

All in all I loved this weekend! Thanks Plot, NPC's and PC's for the great time! I'm planning on eventualy comming back. I'm just not sure how money is gonna be and that can cause problems in trying to play! See you when I can! Thanks!
