This one day will be a bit different then normal.
Players will be moving across a stretch of mountains, deep inside enemy territory in an attempt to rescue Jared Silverstar.
There's a couple things to keep in mind about this.

There won't really be a "town", as you're used to. Players may decide to setup a staging camp somewhere, and maybe even put up protectives there. However, most of the npcs you're encountering this weekend will be hostile, as such if any in town encounters happen, they'll almost certainly be combat related. One way or the other before the event is over, players will need to leave enemy territory. They may not, or may choose to not leave the way they came. Keep that in mind if you plan on bringing a box of stuff, and leaving it somewhere. As you'll have to go back for it.

Players will recieve a map, on top of descriptions (already provided in the in game area of the forums). The intent here is that the players dictate the pacing of the event. Plot created a sandbox, and it's up to the players to tackle it however they see fit. There are both higher level and lower level encounters on the map, and players of all levels will need to work together to suceed even if they aren't directly together at all times.

Depending on when the objective is completed (rescuing Jared) or when players give up, we'll attempt to do a few mods of playtesting of the 2.0 rules. I'd encourage you to take a look at them. I'll get a couple of packets printed so we can create characters sheets. However, this is only if we don't run out of time. We usually don't go much later then 7. We can see how everyone feels and how late people want to keep going.
