Labor Day 4-day Event Info Updated!

In the last couple weeks we've gotten a sudden spike in interest about Alliance Seattle's 4-day Event! That's awesome, and while we announced it months ago on the Official Announcements forum, it seems like people are now starting to make more concrete plans to attend. It's coming up in just over three months, so the time for getting your plane tickets and making arrangements seems to be at hand. We've updated the event description, added more information about our transfer policy, and provided some other new details in this post, so since we can't bump the Announcement (it's locked, but that's fine) we thought it'd be a good time to wave the "Check out the 4-day information thread and come on out to a huge game" flag!

PRE-PAY IS NOW OPEN FOR THE FOUR DAY!!

Alliance Seattle's next event is Thursday, August 29th to Monday, September 2nd at Cornet Bay at Deception Pass State Park ELC near Anacortes, WA.

A Blight fell upon the the small town of Tarndale in the early Spring, stunting the crops and threatening the survival of the small community. Plans to expand farther along Silent Lake to beat the spread to the plague and to settle with the newly awoken protectors of the Valley have come to fruition, but in this new place lie new ruins and new secrets to be uncovered. The Blight has been lifted, but the people of the Valley of Ghosts aren't out of the Woods yet. Can an Elder be awoken, the Draxian freed from their Curse, and the forest restored to its natural state? Come root out corruption in The Valley of Ghosts Episode 10: Woods!

You may Pre-Pay this event by using Paypal to send $98.10 to allianceseattle@gmail.com or by using the link on our website. Don't forget to include your own and your character's name in the "Instructions to the seller" field. You may Pay-no-Play this event in the same manner. Do not send your pre-registration to this address; pre-registration is only accepted via our Logistics Team's handy online form. Pre-Pay pricing ends August 15th. In order to qualify for the Pre-Pay price (so that you do not owe money at the door), you must also Pre-Register. Pre-Registration must be received by August 15th. Even if you miss the pre-registration deadline, Logistics may be able to still prepare for you, so please pre-register anyways! We must receive character cards from out of chapter visitors in order to provide you a character card so that you may PC, so inform your character's home chapter that you'll need your character sent to us. Please send character cards to logistics@alliance-seattle.com (but do not send your preregistration there!)

If you Pre-Register by August 15th but do not Pre-Pay, your at-the-door price will be $105. If you neither pre-pay nor pre-register the cost at-the-door will be $115.
Basic Pages' cost will be $42.50 Pre-Pay, $50 if only Pre-Registered, or $60 at-the-door, while Advanced Pages' cost will be $58.50 Pre-Pay, $65 if only Pre-Registered, or $75 at-the-door. If you are not certain whether you are bringing a Basic or Advanced Page please check out the Seattle and Oregon Page Policy before the game.

NPCing is free, but please still let us know if you plan to attend by pre-registering as an NPC. We will award NPCs not only Goblin Stamps for NPCing, but an additional Restricted item pick as well. The private NPC board for this event will open by August 1st so that anyone who is NPCing can get access to event information pre-game. If you intend to NPC and would like to be on the NPC meal plan make sure that your pre-registration is completed by August 22nd. You may not buy into the NPC Meal Plan if we don't know you are coming! The NPC meal plan costs $35. Please include in your pre-registration if you have any food allergies. Seattle Guild NPCs are assumed to be attending and buying into the meal plan unless we are informed otherwise, but you still need to pre-register! We do not currently have a PC meal plan, but if that changes we will announce it. Similarly, if you have a specific interest in cooking or being part of the cooking team for this event, let us know so that we can gauge the feasibility of establishing such a plan.

NPC Guild, please keep an eye on the NPC Guild Forums, we'll be posting plot information there!

Current list of PC Pre-Pays and NPC Food Pre-Pays can be found here.

Hey everyone! Just to let you know, there is some organization going into what cabins are available/reserved. If you are coming from out of town I highly recommend working with our Deco team ( deco@alliance-seattle.com ). Doing so may help with alleviating potential confusion when getting to site. :)

Greetings from your friendly Seattle Deco Team!

In an effort to prepare for the upcoming 4-day event, we wanted to provide attendees some information about the camp site and begin to coordinate lodging. Below is a link to a map of the campsite and building designations.

- The Duplex (Building 45)= NPC Sleeping
- Mess Hall (Building 59) = The Tavern
- The Activity Space (Building 58) = Monster Camp
- Buildings Behind Tavern (Buildings 60 and 61) = Reserved
- Buildings 38-44 and Buildings 46-52 (PC Cabins - 10 bunks each)

Link to map: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_JHx5A ... sp=sharing

If you'd like to secure a space within a particular cabin, please send an email to deco@alliance-seattle.com with the following information:

- Player Name
- Cabin # Requested

We will reserve spaces in the order that they are received by individual players. If you have pre-paid and/or pre-registered then you may claim spaces for a larger group of at least 6 (please make sure to include each players name).

Note: there is plenty of space on-site (180 bunks total) so you are not required to reserve a bunk ahead of time!
