LARP Weaponry - Magic Wizard Staff!

Greetings! My name is Nicole and I'm reaching out to you in hopes of getting feedback and spreading the word on a project for the LARP community. We are hoping this can become part of the LARP weaponry.

Here is the low-down:
Basically, we decided to integrate technology and 'magic' to create a Magic Wizard Staff. My friend (Mechanical Engineer) and his buddy built three Magic Wizard Staff prototypes, and we now need to get feedback so that we can begin designing the next phase of even more advanced staffs.

All very great questions. At this point, we have only developed prototypes. Based upon the insight gathered from all of your responses, we will decide on the final manufacturing and specifics of the staff.

While I certainly don't mind the conversation in general, I don't believe this particular thread is in the appropriate place for this discussion. This should probably be in the Arts, Costuming, and Props section.
