Latex custom... sword or claw...

Since this is dominant chapter and home chapter. Would the marshals/GM/rules here at HQ declare this a sword or claw?
I am thinking of having a replica latex made, and ditching my boffer "magic" blade.

If you're having it made, why not just ask for a different color on the blade? That way, there is no question about being a claw or not and it wouldn't be an exact copy of an FF7 weapon

Because I like the way it looks as it sits and would not rather have to change anything about it.... Hence why i bothered to ask. I have no problem copying it from FF CC, and if others do then they can keep it to themselves, or best to keep it out of my ear shot.

Given that the blade looks mostly red on first glance I'd probably call it a claw, (Scott and Dan are currently the only ones in HQ that can make calls on latex weapons currently) sweet rep though. To address your comment of HQ as the dominant chapter; even if a rep passes in HQ every chapter does their own weapon evals and the local chapter determines if a weapon passes muster. This is done primarily for safety as a weapon deemed safe at Chapter A last week may have been damaged or worn out when it gets to Chapter B this week. (Toddy, I know you weren't planning on using a "it passed in HQ" defense if another chapter refuses the rep, I'm just trying to be as clear as possible) As for calling it a claw, I'm basing that on the red covering 2/3 of the width of the weapon up the entire length of the blade and that the sword looks red if you just glance at it.

Actually, I really only play HQ now and was my main concern if it passed here as far as looks and classification. I know its each chapters right to accept it or not So I asked this same question in NH and Caldaria since i used to play there a lot, and might swing in once and while to PC. Just planning ahead.

I knew that's what you meant, you just used Dominant to refer to HQ so I needed to clarify in case somebody reading the forums got the wrong idea. :thumbsup:
