I feel a certain responsibility to clear up a few things for those of you who seem confused or those of you who are new to our lands. The following is the hierarchy of the law in Horn's End and the Duchy of Concordia in order of rank from top to bottom:
Magistrate - Sir Garoth Sudicar
Knight of the Crown - Sir Garoth Sudicar
Duchal Knight - Sir Orthus, Sir Redd Rassuer
Vassel Knight - Sir Havok
Squire - Crow NIghteyes(Sir Garoth Sudicar), Jehan(Sir Orthus)
If you have any issues to be brought before the law you can bring them to any of the above individuals. Squires do not have the authority to pass judgement for any dispute, but they can take the information to their knights. The knights have the authority to pass judgement and administer punishments. If there is an issue the knights cannot handle or if the issue involves a knight it will be brought before the magistrate for a decision.
Now all of this being said I think everyone needs to know that our current magistrate, Sir Garoth, can only be approached through pigeon or a face to face encounter. He believes that people's dreams are private and he wishes to keep his private so he will never see anything left here in the dream realm. He does not come here, ever!! Many of the other nobles we have very rarely enter a public dream state, so please understand that if you announce something here that is meant to be addressed by someone in a position of power, it may never reach their ears. I say all of this because I have seen many times where questions were asked or statements made that went unanswered and this was not because we have no nobility or because the nobility we have doesn't care, but because most of them prefer to talk face to face or in a private manner. Please consider all of this if you have gotten frustrated in the past at a lack of response to your problems or questions.
I mean not to insult anyone or upset anyone. i just wanted to make things clear so that the people could have the knowledge needed to get the help they want from our nobles.
