As of 9/14/2016, in accordance with the bylaws of Alliance LARP, Alliance LARP Chicago has instituted a new LCO policy:
Alliance LARP Chicago will now allow an unlimited number of LCO items from other Alliance Larp chapters to transfer in for our events. All MIs allowed must be able to be created using the standard ritual casting process. Any Greater Empowerment will require approval from the Head of Rules as well as either the GM or the owner. --Any nonstandard effect or flaw will need to be attuned via a mod if they are approved. Artifacts from other chapters must be approved for travel by both chapters as per Alliance policy and must be attuned via a mod if they are approved. Until the item is attuned it simply acts as a rendered example of the base item. Spirit Locks/links will remain active but that is it.
The ability to use LCO items issued by other chapters is a privilege and should not be abused. Per our MI policy, we reserve the right to disallow the use of any item at Alliance LARP Chicago events.
Alliance LARP Chicago may alter this policy at its discretion at any time.
