"Leaving Mundania"

Bought it, read it, was pretty impressed by it.

The author spent a couple years playing "Knight Realms," a larp in New Jersey, did tons of research, interviews, ran a Cthulhu one-shot larp, asked all kinds of questions and came up with something to say about larping that isn't "Oh dear lord, look at the freaks." It's more of a "This is an incredible medium in which to find out about yourself while making friends" statement (she summarizes her experiences in the epilogue).

Entirely worth the $15. Or if you're in the SF area, totally worth borrowing from me.
