Last game we had an issue with what constitutes as proper filling for packets.
I would like to remind all players that packets are only allowed to be filled with small bird or millet seed. Please do not use any substitute for this as they pose a safety risk.
I have gone ahead and posted images of some of the packets that were being used at this last game. The first four are examples of fillings that are not legal for game while the last one is an example of what is legal for game. Please reference page 99 of the rule book when creating your packets.
If you are a packet caster, please bring a sample of 5 packets with you to logistics when you check in at the next game to be approved by a marshal. If packets with illegal fillings are found on the field during a mod, a hold will be called and all packet using players will be checked. If your packets are found to be filled with non-regulation filling, they will be confiscated for the remainder of the game.
